Auto-Extend Expiry

Free

Auto-Extend Expiry keeps your active job postings looking fresh to search engines. It automatically rolls each active job’s expiration date forward on a schedule, so the validThrough date in your JobPosting structured data always stays realistic and near-term — the signal Google uses to judge whether a listing is still open.

What it does

  • Keeps active jobs expiring on a rolling window (default 90 days), so validThrough never drifts unrealistically far into the future.
  • Rolls a job forward when its expiry is empty, within your renew window, or further out than the interval.
  • Runs on every job import and via a daily background task — no manual editing.
  • Fires the Google Indexing re-index ping automatically when the Google Indexing feature is active.
  • Includes a manual “Run now” button, a per-job opt-out, and an activity log of every change.

Requirements

  • The Loxo plugin, version 1.9.0 or newer, installed and active.

See the Auto-Extend Expiry documentation for setup and settings.
