HR Business Partner

Summit Peak Outdoor Co. designs and sells camping and hiking gear through 38 stores and a fast-growing online business. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to support our 600-person retail organisation in the Southeast region.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional and store managers on performance, engagement and talent planning
• Lead employee relations cases and investigations with sound judgement and documentation
• Roll out our new compensation bands and the annual review cycle in the region
• Coach first-time managers; about a third of our store leaders were promoted in the last year

Requirements

• 5+ years in HR, 2+ as a business partner or generalist for a distributed workforce
• Retail, hospitality or other multi-site experience
• Working knowledge of US employment law; SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
• Willing to travel to stores about 30% of the time

$95,000 to $115,000 base, 10% bonus, a generous gear discount, and a hybrid schedule from our Atlanta office.
