Financial Controller

Harbor Lane Hospitality Group owns and operates eleven boutique hotels and fourteen restaurants in New England. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Controller leads a team of six and owns the monthly close, consolidated reporting and the annual audit.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month-end close across 25 entities and deliver consolidated statements by business day 8
• Manage cash forecasting, intercompany accounting and lender reporting
• Run the annual audit and coordinate with our external tax advisors
• Upgrade our chart of accounts and reporting as we move from QuickBooks to NetSuite

Who we are looking for

• CPA with 8+ years in accounting, including 3+ in a controller or assistant-controller seat
• Multi-entity hospitality, restaurant or retail experience
• NetSuite implementation experience is a strong plus
• A calm hand at quarter-end and a habit of documenting processes

Base salary of $135,000 to $155,000 with a 15% annual bonus, health coverage, and a hotel-stay benefit across the portfolio. This role is on site at our Boston headquarters with one remote day a week.
