Corporate Paralegal

Lakeshore Legal Partners is a 60-attorney firm in Midtown Manhattan advising venture-backed companies and their investors. Our corporate group is hiring a Paralegal on a contract-to-hire basis, with conversion to a permanent role expected after six months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare entity formation documents, board consents and stock issuances
• Maintain cap tables in Carta and manage equity grant paperwork
• Coordinate closings for financings and M&A transactions, including signature pages and closing sets
• Handle state filings, good-standing certificates and annual reports across multiple jurisdictions

Requirements

• 3+ years as a corporate paralegal, ideally in a law firm serving emerging companies
• Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with tight closing timelines
• Experience with Carta, iManage or NetDocuments is helpful

$40 to $47 per hour depending on experience, overtime eligible, with full benefits on conversion. Four days a week in our Midtown office.
